Student led forum at the University of Bradford to explore issues around the meaning and impact of Peace Studies as an academic discipline, on research and policy, local and international communities and activism.
The first event will be help 1 October 2010 at the University of Bradford. Entitled Beyond the Ivory Tower: Does Peace Studies Make a Difference? this day long event will examine the impact of peace studies from the Department’s founding at Bradford through present day research and our ideas for the future. This event is open to all students, staff, and alumni of the University of Bradford – from any department – and to anyone interested in these issues from the wider community.
